Manage Opportunity

The Manage Opportunity page provides tabs to the funding opportunity’s Forecast, Synopsis, Version History, Related Documents, Single-Project Package and Multi-Project Package. To modify or delete any of these components, click on the corresponding tab. If the page is titled Manage Opportunity (DRAFT), then this opportunity is in draft status and has not yet been published to the public.

Located above the tabs, basic opportunity details are listed, including the Opportunity Number, Opportunity Title, Opportunity Category, Agency Name, Opportunity ID, and CFDA Numbers. To edit the opportunity information, click the Modify Details link. The Related Opportunities button allows grantors to add relationships between different funding opportunities.

If there are any alerts or success messages triggered by Grantor actions, these will appear near the top of this page.

How to Edit Opportunity Details

  1. Click the Manage Opportunities link on the Grantor Center page.

  2. Select or search for the desired funding opportunity to manage.

  3. Click the Manage link for the funding opportunity. You will be directed to the Manage Opportunity page.

  4. Click the Modify Details link in the top left corner of the page.

  5. Make updates to the Opportunity Number, Opportunity Title, Opportunity Category, or CFDA Number(s).

  6. Check the Send Change Notifications box and add modification comments to alert applicants to the changes.

  7. Click the Save button to publish the changes, or click the Cancel button to abort the changes.

When changes are published, a success message on the top of the Manage Opportunity page will read, “Success: Opportunity Details successfully modified.”

Note: If the Opportunity Number is modified, all existing subscriptions to this Opportunity will be associated with the new Opportunity Number. Also, modifying the opportunity will create a new version of the Forecast and Synopsis.
