Delete Application Packages

Grantors with the Manage Packages role can delete an application package from the Package tab of the Manage Opportunity page if a forecast, synopsis, or packages exists for the opportunity. Otherwise, you will need to delete the entire grant opportunity in order to remove the application package from the system.

Note: Once an application package is deleted, Grants.gov no longer accepts or processes any application submitted to that opportunity package. If the Grantor has not suppressed notifications, applicants who registered to receive information pertaining to that opportunity package will be notified of the deletion.

How to Delete an Application Package

  1. On the Manage Opportunities page, use the search box to search and view a specific or list of opportunities for your Agency.

  2. Select the row of opportunity that contains the application package you want to delete. Then click the Manage link.

  3. You will be directed to the Manage Opportunity page. Click on the Package tab.

  4. Click the Delete link for the package you would like to remove from the opportunity.

  5. You will be directed to the Confirm Package Deletion page. If you do not want to delete the application package, click the Cancel button to return to the Package tab of the Manage Opportunity page.

  6. Click the Delete button to permanently remove the listed application package. This will take you to the Delete Package Success page.

  7. Click the Continue button to return to the Package tab of the Manage Opportunity page.
