The Workspace Manager role enables a Participant to create workspaces. Using the Manage Roles for Applicant page functionality, users with the Standard Authorized Organization Representative (Standard AOR) role have the ability to assign or revoke the Workspace Manager role from participants.
An EBiz POC or other users with the Expanded AOR role can also manage role(s) to the applicants registered under their organization. Refer to the Manage Applicants help article for more information on this topic.
How to Assign the Workspace Manager role
Click the Manage Applicants link in the left navigation menu on the Applicant Center page.
Under the Actions column, click the Manage Roles link to access the Manage Roles for Applicant page.
Select the Workspace Manager role from the Applicant Roles list. A check mark will appear in the box next to the Workspace Manager role.
Click the Save button to keep your changes or the Cancel button to return to the Manage Applicants page.
Grants.gov sends a notification email to the user who has been assigned the Workspace Manager role.
How to Revoke the Workspace Manager role
Click the Manage Applicants link on the left navigation menu on the Applicant Center page.
Under the Actions column, click the Manage Roles link to access the Manage Roles for Applicant page.
De-select the Workspace Manager role from the Applicant Roles list. This will remove the check mark from the box next to the Workspace Manager role.
Click the Save button to keep your changes or the Cancel button to return to the Manage Applicants page.
